FOUNDER OF ON DEMAND ATHLETICS
My name is Andre Van Gerwen and I am the owner and founder of On Demand Athletics. I have spent the last 14 years coaching competitive baseball at all age levels, from private club teams to the high school level.
The private baseball sector has exploded over those ten years, mainly in the form of club baseball. One area that seems to be forgotten at times is the individual progression of players. Programs tend to focus on competition and sometimes fail to deliver on a players development.
Through my experience, I began to notice how difficult it can be to develop the "individual" while in a "team" format. As a coaching staff, we required players to find time to enhance their skills outside of team events.
That's where the idea for On Demand Athletics was born. ODA is a program that focuses solely on the progression of individual players. We offer an array of events that allow for players to enhance their baseball skill sets as well as develop their athletic abilities.
I have been fortunate to coach players from all levels and skill sets. My personality has made it possible for me to connect with players and help them develop the confidence they need to perform. I wake up each morning knowing I will have an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. Thank you for taking the time to read this, it truly means the world to me.
